This is one of the coolest things I have seen while hiking. While hiking in the sun through the bottom park of the canyon I saw what looked like a Golden Eagle swoop down and grab a snake on the ground and fly with it to sit on a nearby tree. Note the thing curled beneath him, that's a snake. It was like watching Animal Planet.
